Mindful Yoga
During his stay in Belgrade, Sabino Raul Soares, in addition to his Ecstatic Dance DJ performance, presented us with “Mindful Yoga”.
A relatively new form of yoga called Mindful Yoga, applies traditional Buddhist mindfulness teachings to the physical practice of yoga, offering even deeper insights into the mind and a truly life-changing approach to your practice.
Mindful Yoga allows us, through various yoga postures, to find our body and breath in the present moment. These are times when we allow ourselves to take care, listen, feel and move the body with mindfulness. In this practice we will use recovery yoga postures which allows us to deeply relax the muscles and release accumulated tensions in the body, while cultivating presence, focus and body awareness in each posture.
